Converse Shai 001 - Shock and Spark
Just when it looked like the story was over, the SHAI 001 is back. Two new colourways of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's first signature shoe are on the way: "Shock" and "Spark." Both return to the zip-covered build that made the SHAI 001 stand out in the first place, and both are coming soon to Lemkus.
The SHAI 001 has never been a standard signature shoe. Shai was its creative director, and the design started with his own hand-drawn sketches. He describes the result like this: "I poured my heart and soul into the SHAI 001, and I'm proud to share it with the world. From performance to design, every aspect reflects my passion for the game."
That vision shows in every detail. The shoe has a puffed upper with a winged shroud and a unibody moulded design that looks unlike anything else on court. The locking zipper cover is its best-known feature, and it lets you style the shoe several ways, so it works in the game and off the court. Underneath, there's a forefoot Nike Zoom Air unit for spring and court feel. A radial traction pattern handles quick cuts and changes of direction. An inner bootie, a padded tongue and a ghillie lacing system keep your foot locked in.

These two new pairs go back to the original zip-covered construction, which shows why the silhouette became one of the most talked-about basketball shoes of the past year.

The darker of the two. "Shock" has a nearly all-black upper, with a neon green tongue and green accents flashing through the outsole. It's a sharp, high-contrast look that stands out on court and off it.
"Spark" has a pale blue-grey base with yellow detailing across the top, the tongue and the outsole. The setup matches "Shock," but the look is softer. It still has enough colour to turn heads.
