Air Jordan 6 Retro 'White Infrared'
In 1991, Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan 6 as he carried the Chicago Bulls to their first-ever Finals and first NBA championship. Thirty-five years later, one of the shoe's original launch colourways is back.
Tinker Hatfield drew on the German sports cars of the era when he designed the 6, and it shows: sleek, fast and unapologetically elite. He loaded it with details like a neoprene inner sleeve, a translucent rubber sole and visible Air, and after the title run it became the hottest sneaker on and off the court.
This retro stays true to the 1991 original, with a shape, fit and feel that follow the OG more closely than past releases. Crisp white leather covers the upper, black detailing sharpens the lines, and Infrared hits the midsole in a shade that sits close to the original.
The biggest change is at the heel. The 2010 Infrared Pack and the 2014 retro both carried Jumpman branding, but this pair brings back the Nike Air logo. It's the first "White Infrared" to wear it in 35 years, a direct nod to the shoe's championship roots.
