Air Jordan 3 Retro "Fireside"
The Air Jordan 3 was Tinker Hatfield's first design for Jordan Brand, and more than three decades later it's still one of the best.
This time it comes back in layers of chocolate brown leather and nubuck. The signature elephant print is done in the same brown, so it reads as texture rather than contrast.
Pearl White Jumpman branding breaks up the browns, with a Jumpman on the heel instead of "Nike Air". Visible Air cushioning and a gum outsole round out the warm, vintage look. There's also a pair of Rust Pink laces in the box, and swapping them in changes the whole shoe.
The "Fireside" continues Jordan Brand's run of women's-exclusive colourways. It's an easy pair to wear. The browns go with denim, cargos, knitwear and just about everything else in your cupboard, and you get two looks from one pair depending on which laces you use.
