Air Jordan 6 "Salesman"
The elusive Air Jordan 6 “Reverse Infrared” steps out of the archives to celebrate the silhouette’s 35th anniversary. Originally known as the Infrared Salesman Sample from a 1999 catalogue, this colourway flips a Jordan classic with reversed midsole accents and bold Light Crimson branding on the heel.
Instead of leaning purely on nostalgia, the release offers a rare look into Jordan Brand’s early design process. The black nubuck upper, visible Air unit, and inner bootie stay true to the original DNA, while the Infrared-dominant midsole creates a sharper, more striking contrast than the traditional layout.
Jordan Brand also refined the shape to better match the 1991 form. The toe box has been adjusted through the internal bootie, and the tongue height now reflects what Michael Jordan wore on court, subtle updates that separate this pair from recent retros.
Inside, a sample-style tag and “Not For Resale” stamp nod to its prototype origins, supported by special hangtags and custom packaging.
