Since joining the Nike SB program back in 2009, Eric Koston has continually bridged the worlds of skateboarding and Nike heritage — leaving a lasting mark on some of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes. Known for his sharp design eye and understanding of both performance and culture, Koston was instrumental in reworking the legendary Air Max 95 for skateboarding.

Now, as the Air Max 95 celebrates its 30th anniversary, Koston’s latest project brings the story full circle with the Nike SB Air Max 95 “Eric Koston” — a nostalgic and finely tuned reimagining of a classic.

Paying homage to his earlier SB work, Koston returns to his signature palette and detailing. His name appears across the tongue logo and sockliner, while a Thai-script Nike logo on the toe tip nods to his heritage — a subtle but powerful personal touch that roots this release in authenticity.

Built for skateboarding but true to its Air Max DNA, the Koston AM95 features a premium leather and suede upper, folded edges, and double-stitch reinforcement across high-wear zones for extra durability. Foam reduction and updated herringbone lugs enhance board feel and traction, all while keeping the familiar skeletal lines and visible Max Air cushioning that define the original Air Max 95.

The Nike SB Air Max 95 “Eric Koston” drops Friday, 14 November 2025, first come, first served at Lemkus. Any remaining pairs after the in-store release will be made available online on lemkus.com.
